Terms of Service

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use TakeSheet on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.

TakeSheet Pro is a one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription. It does not renew and there are no recurring charges. Through Apple’s Universal Purchase, one Pro purchase unlocks Pro features on iPhone, iPad, and Mac when you use the same Apple Account.

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. All sales are final, and refunds are not provided by us except as required by applicable law or by Apple’s App Store policies. Refund requests must be directed to Apple, which controls the refund process for App Store purchases.

You retain all rights to the content you create or import in TakeSheet — session logs, notes, photos, voice memos, documents, and audio bounces. We do not claim ownership of it and, because it is stored in your own iCloud account, we do not have access to it.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights to any audio or other material you import into the app.

You agree not to:

• use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• interfere with or disrupt the app, its services, or the Apple or Google infrastructure it relies on;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ data or to systems connected to the app;
• use the app to store or distribute content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.

TakeSheet is a session logging tool, not a backup, archival, or master-storage service. Audio files you import are copies for reference playback. You are solely responsible for maintaining your own backups of your original recordings, project files, and any other audio material. We are not liable for any loss of audio files, session data, or other content, whether caused by device failure, iCloud sync behavior, app removal, or otherwise.

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data synchronization will be available at all times — iCloud sync depends on Apple’s services and your network conditions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the app. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the app at any time. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be noted in the app or on this page, and the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer protections you have under the laws of your country of residence.
